We have to look elsewhere, enter unknown areas and give non-obvious ideas a chance. The world in 2025 feels uncertain and unsettled. Many people, organizations, and even entire countries face growing oppression and confusion. We look around and ask ourselves: What is happening? Where should I go? Who can guide me through these times? The answers are not always clear, and the usual sources of direction often fall short.
Salvation came from the unexpected
Two thousand years ago, people faced similar turmoil. Despite powerful rulers and wise advisors, many found no real answers. Salvation came from an unexpected place: a child born in a humble stable, in a forgotten village. This story reminds us that sometimes, the best solutions come from where we least expect them.
Seek in Unexpected Places
We are not searching for a “new Jesus.” But the story reminds us: to find guidance and clarity, we may need to look beyond the obvious, explore the unfamiliar, and give unconventional ideas a chance.
Find direction from your essence
Many people and organizations are realizing that old ways of doing things no longer work. When familiar methods fail, we can feel adrift. To find a new course, we must reconnect with our essence; our purpose, our true goals. Without this, fear and uncertainty naturally take hold.
Try a Different Approach
Thinking harder or working longer rarely solves this. As Stephen Covey noted, we have four forms of intelligence: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. We often rely on the first two: our body and mind, without success.
Listen to Feeling and Intuition
The missing keys are emotional and spiritual intelligence; our feelings and intuition. These may seem small at first, fragile like a newborn. But with attention, care, and practice, they grow. By nurturing them, we gain direction, guidance, and clarity. If we truly listen to our inner voice, we can hear it whisper calmly: everything will be okay. And indeed, it is.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a steady, hopeful New Year.
