Choose the color of the candle or candles carefully. Candles that are the same color inside and outside work best, because colors each have their own vibration and frequency. By using a candle consisting of one color you can add extra power to the magic. You can also rub the candles in advance with an essential oil, also called ointment. Rubbing the oil in is a good preparation for your ritual, you can visualize your goal while rubbing in. Green: Used to find new love and develop heart affairs. Also in money, growth, beauty, work, success, happiness and prosperity.

Blue: Is the 'healing color', wisdom and unlimited possibilities, pushes boundaries and instills confidence. This color is used in truth, healing, cleansing of the soul, hope. Also in protection, creativity, communication, predictive dreams, friendship, removing fears and against negative energy.

Purple: Used for inspiration, spiritual and physical strength, spiritual growth, knowledge, wisdom and increasing abilities. Also in psychological competence, independence, power and healing.

Pink: Used on the softer-sweet aspects of love and kindness, for reconciliation and harmony, to promote peaceful sleep. Also in love, peace, romance, emotions, honor, friendship, fidelity and femininity.

Brown: Used for instinctive wisdom and protection. Also in earthly magic, animal magic, friendship, favors, balance, concentration, house and home, lost things and grounding.

White: Is the color of the Goddess, used with life force and energy of importance in the start of something new, moon magic, purity, spirituality, healing, peace, meditation, truth, spiritual power, protection, joy.

Silver: Is the color of the Goddess's candle, it is used for intuition and sudden insights, especially in dreams. Also with telepathy, clairvoyance, female strength and stability.

Gold: Is the color of the candle of God, it is used for success, prosperity and recognition. Also for a long life and great ambitions, happiness and wealth.

The meaning of the flame of the candle you made:

Strong Flame: When your candle burns firmly it means that power and energy is being drawn towards it.

Weak flame: There is a form of resistance, the candle ritual will probably have to be performed a few more times to achieve the success you have in mind.

Dying flame: Things aren't going as they should, you'd better start over and set your intentions with more care and clarity.

Flickering Flame: There are painful, intense emotions and there is an explosion of energy.

Flame points north: One experiences a physical change, indicating a long-lasting issue.

Flame points to the east: One experiences mental change, for example, inspiration, feeling or ideas that are gained.

Flame points to the south: One experiences a fierce situation or discussion.

Flame points to the west: One experiences strong emotions and there will be success.
